Approved- Hamilton County Youth Inspire Resiliency Grant ($5,000 they pay the vendor), Hamilton County Sheriff's Office ($8,000 unrestricted) and Greater Cincinnati Foundation Boots on the Ground ($12,500 after-school program)

Mentor Recruitment

We currently have 30 mentees, 28 mentors and 25+ mentees on the waitlist. We have 1-2 mentors completing the onboarding process.

Events

Annual Youth Summit-April 26th. Flyer has been shared via email. Currently have 20 parents and 34 students registered. We have a couple of news interviews coming on 4/11 (Channel 5) and 4/22 (Fox 19). We should have one more on Channel 9. Just waiting on a date and time.
Back-to-school event. The date is August 9th from 1p-4pm at the McKie Recreation Center. United Way has increased their backpack donations from 450 to 500.

P&G will donate toothpaste again this year. I am trying to see if I can get them to donate toothbrushes and dental floss as well.
United Way will look into donating hygiene kits as well from their community partners.
We will be getting backpacks from the Ohio Commission on Minority Health. I will ask closer to the event what other resources they can donate as well.
We will need volunteers for this event

The Flying Pig Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, May 4th.

We will need course monitor volunteers for this event. Families are welcome to volunteer with is for this event. Please see the link and instructions below. Volunteer time is 6:45am-10:45am.
